A Very Good Quality Early 19th Century Mahogany Dressing Table, Or Side Table, Having Well Figured Top With Attractive Wooden Gallery, Over One Long Drawer To Frieze With Replacement Brass Handles And Ebonised Strung Decoration, Raised On Elegant Turned Tapering Legs, United By Concave Undertier, With Original Brass Castors.

This excellent quality little dressing table has real elegance and presence, which in combination with the overall design, quality of construction and rich mahogany timbers used ensures it would be a beautiful, elegant, functional addition to just about any room, in any home.

Overall the condition is good, with no structural defects or issues to speak of and the table is very much fit for purpose. Although the handles are replacements they are correct in style for the period of the table therefore sit very well on it and the brass castors are original.

As with all items which we offer for sale this georgian dressing table has been inspected and attended to in our workshops by our specialist, trained antique furniture restorers and received a natural wax polish before being placed on sale to ensure it is ready for immediate placement after purchase.
