This wonderful Edwardian Monk's bench is crafted from solid oak and exhibits remarkable patination. It cleverly transforms into a side table when the backrest is lifted onto the solid oak armrests, which are carved in the form of lions. Surrounded by panelling, it features charming carvings on both the backrest and front panels. The backrest boasts intricate carvings, including a central shield-like design with a diamond pattern and decorative scrollwork on either side. The front panel also displays detailed carvings with floral motifs. The seat lifts to provide convenient storage for items like boots, shoes, and bags.
