Handsome Victorian monk’s bench / hall seat / settle made from solid oak in excellent condition with amazing patination. This very decorative item has carved panels to the back depicting what looks like a brawl inside and outside tavern. The solid oak arm rests are carved in the form of lion with the heads facing inwards. The base is profusely carved with foliage with masks of the green man to the front.
