Fully Restored Art Deco Circa 1920 Zebrano Brown Leather Sofa Armchair Suite

Description

Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning, fully restored Art Deco circa 1920 hand dyed Cigar Brown leather sofa and armchair suite with Zebrano wood frame and Italian Russet hide leather upholstery

This suite has been on a journey, it came to me with yellow fabric upholstery and the timber was rather dull, it has been to my French polishers to have the old finished washed back, its then been traditionally French polished from the ground up, from there it went to my upholsterer where all the old fabric was removed, the suite was then upholstered with Premium Italian Russet hide leather which is upholstered plain and hand nail tacked in place, from there it went to my leather polishers who hand dyed all the leather six times, it was then antiqued, sealed waxed down and polished, the end result is a very unique suite in really first class gallery condition

The suite will still have some honest age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect with a 100+ year old suite
