It was listed by Marylebone Antiques. Sold pieces stay on Sellingantiques as a record of what has passed through, and the next one is rarely far away.
Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1860s.
It has an arched top, original hanging pegs & a useful glove compartment. I particularly like the gothic style umbrella holders. We have had a zinc tray made that fits in the base (the size was wrong so we are re-doing it), however the bottom compartment looks very nice as is. This stand is in excellent original condition, dating from around the 1860-80’s period & a very practicable piece of furniture.
