Antique Walnut Chest of Drawers

Description

An attractive 19th century antique walnut chest of drawers, in the Queen Anne style. The antique chest of drawers has a rectangular moulded top, with an arrangement of two short over three long drawers, each with decorative brass backplates and swan neck drop handles. The walnut chest of drawers is raised on four moulded bracket feet. A rather attractive example.

Height – 87cm / Width – 98cm / Depth – 59.5cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and stains to the top, sides and front (pictured). There are also splits to the veneer in places (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. There is minor evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique walnut chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!
