Arundel Clocks has dated this French Crystal Regulator Clock to the 1890s.
I have for sale the 1890s bow-fronted enamel French crystal regulator mantel clock in original condition with an eight-day running movement in a very nice large brass and enamel inlaid case and all run via a Mercury pendulum.

French made.
This clock has had the whole movement fully restored ultrasonic cleaned and hand polished around two months ago with new springs put in then re-built & oiled screws re-blued so runs strong for the eight days striking on a sweet blued gong to the rear.

The Case
The case is in solid brass and enamel with mega thick beveled glass sides in original condition, the case is very heavy standing 27cm high x 17cm wide with a depth of 12cm it is in perfect original condition very shiny, and has been very well looked after over the years, with 4 mm thick beveled glass on all four sides the front and back are doors which open with ease, all of the glass is in mint condition no chips or cracks.

The Dial
The dial is in original condition in white porcelain with blue Arabic numerals and an enamel center.
The Movement

The movement and clock is made in France around 1890.
The movement keeps spot on time over the eight days; she was serviced and oiled around two weeks ago but was fully ultrasonic cleaned new springs re-built all screws re-blued two months ago so in perfect running condition.

Overall a very beautiful clock quite rare in this original condition that looks great on display keeping a great time and looking even better. The photos do not do justice to this lovely old clock.
