19th Century Aesthetic Movement Ash Washstand

A fine quality Aesthetic movement washstand dating to the late 19th century. The washstand is made entirely from solid ash with ebony inlay with a white marble top with the back tiles being from the renowned china works Mintons of Stoke on Trent. Originally retailed through Walter Carters Depository in Manchester and believed to have been once owned by George Formby. In good solid condition with age related wear and the one small repair to the marble corner. The washstands sits on castors for easy movement. We also have the matching dressing table in stock.
