Description

Antique large quality 19th Century gilt overmantle or wall mirror.

The mirror has its original glass. The frame has been historically refinished with later aging, losses and touching up.

An impressive find, that would look amazing in the right location. No loose joints or woodworm.

The mirrored glass had medium oxidation (some vertical streaks... see pics) and other age related imperfections. If a customer wished, we could replace the glass for £100 before despatch.

Overall maximum dimensions: 157cmH x 90cmW x 10cmD. Mirrored glass 119cmH x 65cmW.

In good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, wear and imperfections, as is generally desirable with antique furniture.

A 19th-century gilt overmantel mirror is a decorative wall mirror specifically proportioned to hang above a fireplace mantlepiece.
