Aramis Antiques has dated this Georgian Mahogany Side Table to the 1800s.
Typically Georgian, the drawer and surrounding frame are inlaid with ebony stringing, with an oblong ebony strung panel above the legs. The sides of the table top are reeded all round. The table stands on beautifully turned legs. The supports for the side leaves are inset into the frame and can be pulled out under the leaves when required. The condition is excellent. Gorgeous rich warm mahogany colour. A very clean and classic example, with good proportions.
The width with leaves up is exactly 100cm.
