Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Regency linen press is a tall storage cabinet popularised in early nineteenth-century Britain, featuring an upper two-door cupboard housing sliding linen trays resting upon a lower chest of drawers.

Cabinetmakers during the Regency period predominantly utilized solid mahogany and figured flame mahogany veneers, often employing oak or pine as secondary drawer lining woods alongside cast brass hardware.

Authentic pieces display period-correct construction details such as hand-cut dovetail joints, original lock mechanisms, flame mahogany veneer panels, and hand-planed timber linings on the interior drawers and backboards.

A mahogany linen press serves as a focal statement piece in modern bedrooms, dressing rooms, or wide hallways, providing generous concealed storage while contrasting against neutral walls and minimalist architecture.

Maintain the timber finish by dusting regularly with a soft cloth and applying a high-quality beeswax polish once or twice a year, keeping the furniture away from direct heat sources and sunlight to prevent shrinkage or fading.
