Description

Late 19C Satinwood Painted Decorated 7 Piece Salon Suite. Comprising of a triple back settee, pair of armchairs and a set of 4 single chairs. Each piece having oval backs with floral painted frames topped by painted ribbons. Central oval painted winged cherubs, each one with differing scene, held by three decorated upright splats in the form of arrows having green painted feathers to base and arrow heads to tops. Tied ribbons above and below the central ovals. All arms having leaf painted tops and floral painted swept supports running into square tapered and decorated uprights. The stuff over upholstered ( stained ) serpentine fronted seats with decorated front rails flanked by decorated square corners. All on tied ribbon and floral decorated square tapered legs with spade feet.
