Culvertons has dated this piece to the 1920s.

This cabinet has been sensitively restored and re-lined. There are two inset locks to the reverse ( both working with key supplied). To open the cabinet it is a simple matter of moving one side over an edge of a table or desk, till the lock is revealed. Then simply unlock that side before turning the cabinet around to release the other. Once unlocked the glazed top simply lifts off for you to alter the display as you see fit. There are protective pads to the underside to protect the furniture it is placed upon.

The maximum height of an item that can be displayed is approximately 4 cm.
As you would expect from its age and function, there are a few minor marks to the glazed top, that, in our opinion, are not an issue when viewing the contents.
Due to its glass panels this item would need to be couriered or shipped rather than posted.
