Small 17th Century Antique Oak Box Settle

A small 17th Century antique oak two panel box settle with superb original patina. C.1680. Stop moulded frame to the front and the back rest. Single plank top forming the seat with original hand forged nailed on hinges, lifts to reveal an original interior. Very original with the panelled back running to the base of the back, owners initials stamped on the panels. Superb original rich patina. Measures 39" wide x 15" deep x 31" high at top of the back. Seat height 16"
