The sides are exceptionally lovely, having a pretty shape, with pierced quatrefoil carvings to each side.
The settle is a very useable size.
The condition is very good, with general expected signs of use consistent with age, minor knocks and bumps, minor historical repairs, as you would expect of furniture of this age, all of which give it the wonderful character.
Very heavy, solid sturdy and strong.
