A HUGE English Regency giltwood circular convex mirror featuring a carved eagle pediment and a deep molded frame.

These regency mirrors were popular during the early 19th century, typically between 1800 and 1850. The convex glass, comprise of a very bulbous mercury convex plate which provides a wide-angle view, surrounded by a gilt frame decorated with balls and carvings.
