K0355 A exceptionally fine early Victorian horizontal wall mirror (circa 1850), retaining its magnificent original glass, gilding, and structural backboards. The mirror plate exhibits that desirable and authentic foxing that adds immense antique character without compromising clarity. It is housed within an finely carved giltwood frame, masterfully detailed with sweeping leafy scrolls at the base and resting upon its rare, original removable ceramic bun feet. Presented in home-ready condition, this striking overmantel piece comes complete with secure wall-mounting brackets. c1850
