The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Gold Zenith Pocket Watch to the 1920s.
The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a 1929 presentation inscription from the Directors of Eatoughs Ltd, a major British boot and shoe manufacturer.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, an English case manufacturer and supplier to various watch manufacturers. The case is in super condition, just one small indentation to the back, barely worth mentioning.

The glass lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed Zenith and it also has the name of the original retailer, H Burton & Son, Leicester. Eatoughs was based in Earl Shilton which was then a large village in the Hinckley and Bosworth borough of Leicestershire. The dial is in very nice condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
