Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this Emerald Diamond Halo Ring to the 1950s.
The stone is secured in a yellow gold rubover setting and is surrounded by 22 eight cut diamonds in platinum. Pretty detailing in the under-gallery (including for 'hidden' hearts at each corner) leads to a slim 18k yellow gold shank which splits at the shoulders.

Accompanied by a report from GemResearch SwissLab (GRS) stating the emerald is Colombian and has only received minor clarity enhancement.
Cut: Emerald-cut emerald and eight-cut diamonds.
Colour: The diamonds are G.

Clarity: The emerald is has some visible inclusions (which is normal and expected). The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat: The emerald is 1.64 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.30 carat.

Circa: 1950.
Size: O (UK) or 7 (US). Free sizing available.
Measurements: The emerald is 8.24 x 6.27mm. The head of the ring is 13.4 x 11.3mm and sits 6.9mm from the finger.
Weight: 5.64 grams.
Metal: 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
