Description

Here’s an amazing Victorian pine bedroom unit, often referred to as a housekeeper’s cupboard — a substantial and highly versatile piece with an impressive amount of storage.

On either side are two tall, full-height hanging sections, which mirror each other and provide generous hanging space. With an internal depth of 19.5", they are suitable for most clothing. One side currently has a cubby space where a drawer would originally have been — this could potentially be recreated, or simply used as additional open storage.

The central section features cupboard doors with a shelf inside, positioned above four drawers that offer excellent storage. The piece retains plenty of original character and detailing throughout.

Originally painted, it has since been stripped and waxed. It would benefit from a thorough clean and re-waxing, which can be carried out before delivery. Any small adjustments, catches, and fittings will also be attended to, and a suitable key may be sourced for the central cupboard.

For delivery, the unit separates into its main sections, making it more manageable to transport and install.
