Antique 19th century small compactum wardrobe in ash, a beautifully designed and exceptionally practical piece that combines generous storage within a compact footprint.

Very well made and of good quality, this impressive wardrobe is full of character and showcases the thoughtful craftsmanship associated with the Victorian period. Its versatile layout and elegant proportions make it a wonderful choice for both period and contemporary interiors.

The interior has been cleverly arranged to maximise storage, with a spacious hanging compartment to the left complete with a hanging rail and multiple hooks for garments and accessories.

To the right is a smaller cupboard, also fitted with several hanging hooks, providing additional organised storage. Beneath are three small drawers above a larger lower drawer, each retaining its original handles and beautifully decorated with finely reeded drawer fronts. A bevel-edged mirror to the front adds both practicality and elegance, enhancing the wardrobe's overall appeal.

Crafted from beautifully matured ash, the timber displays gorgeous natural grain and a warm, inviting colour throughout. The carved detailing has been executed with a high level of attention to detail, reflecting the quality of the cabinet making, while the attractive figuring of the wood further enhances its striking appearance.
