John Howkins Antiques has dated this Mahogany Cheval Dressing Mirror to the 19th Century.
The mirror is supported by superb fluted columns topped by fluted turnings and still retaining the original telescopic brass candle holders. The angle of the mirror can be adjusted by the conforming fluted tunings to the sides. The base having sled shaped supports having wonderful quarter moulded turnings with acanthus carved feet and joined with turned and fluted cross stretchers.
