London City Antiques has dated this Victorian Mahogany Cheval Mirror to the 1860s.
This quality antique mirror has a substantial mahogany frame with softly rounded upper corners.

Each upright is surmounted by a decorative turned finial and fitted with a large circular adjustment knob. The supports are joined by a pair of turned stretchers, giving the frame both strength and an attractive balanced appearance.

The mirror stands on four shaped splayed legs terminating in small castors, allowing it to be moved more easily. Its generous proportions make it ideal as a full-length dressing mirror within a bedroom, dressing room or hallway.

Condition
In lovely antique condition with light marks and signs of wear consistent with age and use.
