Description

A very good quality late Regency / William IV mahogany full size cheval mirror. The figured mahogany frame with original mirror plate and Cope & Austin patented brass swing fittings. The stand having dual end turned supports with carved tulip decoration and turned cross stretcher again with tulip carving. The whole supported on moulded sabre legs with carved acanthus detail to the knees and terminating on ornate brass castors which retain the original gilding. Condition- Very good and original. Dimensions:- Height…64.5’’/ 164cm. Width…35’’/ 89cm. Depth at Base…28’’/ 71cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
