Knight Fine Antiques and Collectables has dated this Gilt Bronze Centrepiece Urn to a period later than 1960.

The piece features elaborate floral handles in the Art Nouveau taste, each surmounted by a ho-ho bird, with flowing naturalistic forms typical of decorative revival pieces inspired by 19th century French design. The scale and weight give it strong presence, making it suitable as a centrepiece or decorative focal object within a traditional or eclectic interior.
