Arrowsmith Antiques & Interiors has dated this Georgian Mahogany Serpentine Chest to the Georgian era.

The figured top is finished with moulded edge, and the chest of drawers has canted corners to the front with decorative boxwood string inlay, and it stands on shaped bracket feet, with further boxwood string inlay, finished with moulding to the base.

All of the drawers are oak lined, with the top drawer having three compartments. The chest has working locks and comes with a key.

Depth - 56 cm (22 inches)
Circa - 1790
