An antique Victorian aesthetic movement ash washstand, with marble top and shaped raised gallery back. The gallery features shaped side brackets, turned finials and central panel set with original blue and white tiles of repeating circular motifs of stylised floral and bird motifs The washstand has two frieze drawers with original brass pull handles and stands on elegantly turned legs with the original ceramic castors, each with studded metal collars.
