A rare corner wall hanging cupboard in superb condition.

What a superb example of an Georgian C1820 hanging corner cabinet, crafted from rich mahogany around 1820-1830, and presented in beautiful condition. This piece immediately draws the eye with its intricate details, most notably the copious cross-banded inlays that adorn its structure, giving it a sophisticated, finished look. The cabinet features a large door with attractive leaded glazing, which, while likely a later enhancement, perfectly suits its current role as a display or drinks cabinet. The door is functional and secure, complete with a working lock and key highlighted by a contrasting boxwood key escutcheon. Both the upper pediment and the lower base panel share a common, finely inlaid design, creating a harmonious and balanced aesthetic. Beneath the main display area, you'll find a practical base unit composed of one smoothly operating, dovetail-constructed lower drawer flanked by two decorative dummy drawers.
