Clockwise has dated this Fusee Dial Wall Clock to the 1930s.
The dial surround is attached in the classic fashion to the main case by four wooden pegs and the 12 inch dial has been tastefully restored; original hands complete the classic appearance. There are original stabilising hooks to each bottom corner of the case to keep the clock in-beat when it is being wound.

Internally the movement has been stripped, overhauled, cleaned and oiled through and is covered by my three year guarantee. The manufacturer’s details and date of manufacture are stamped to the back plate of the movement.

Stockall, Marples & Co worked at Clerkenwell from the 1900s and supplied clocks to government workplaces such as the military, post offices and railway companies.
This is just one of many fusee clocks that I have for sale with more railway and government clocks due soon.
