A charming antique Edwardian period satinwood and marquetry oval tray top table dating from circa 1900. Featuring a tray top with carved bow and swag decoration to the perimeter and paterae inlay to the centre. It is raised on elegant square-section inlaid tapering outs wept legs with turned finials and united by a carved oval under-tier. Masterfully carved and inlaid with Sheraton influences, this splendid table has an elegant, refined look. It is in lovely original condition with good depth of colour, and patination.
