The stones is rubover set in yellow gold, and sits within between bold, almost architectural shoulders set with eight (four each side) transitional cut diamonds in platinum, to a wide and flat 18k yellow gold shank. A substantial, serious, and impressive mid century ring.

Accompanied by a report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
