Sturmans Antiques has dated this Georgian Oak Longcase Clock to the Georgian era.
The base with figured timbers, crossbanding and moulded plinth, small ogee bracket feet below. Engraved brass and silvered dial with date aperture and subsidiary seconds dial; 8 day movement with anchor escapement and bell striking on the hour. Small proportion and presented in excellent condition with a deep shine, the movement fully overhauled and working.
