Charming Small Longcase Clock with Mellow Faded Oak and Mahogany with Inlay Decorations Surmounted by a Brass Finial.

Height 79in or 201cm (plus top of Finial)

With an 11 inch Chapter Ring the Hand Painted Dial with Gilt Floral Decoration, Seconds Sub Dial and Inscribed Joseph Wilson Stamford. He was the nephew of James Wilson from whom he Succeeded - Working Dates 1818-1868. Also a Silversmith.

The 3/4 Length Trunk Door has Attractive Radial Oak Graining is banded by Mahogany and adorned by a Grape Vine Key Escutcheon.

Checked & Tested - Good Working Order. Strikes the Number of Hours on the O’clock
