A superb 19th.Century Chippendale style mahogany library armchair. The sprung back and seat upholstered in a fine silk fabric which is in very good condition. The serpentine shaped top leading to the well carved and shaped open arms with scroll carved ends and applied patrae. Below the seat is a wonderful carved Vitruvian scroll frieze joining the fine cabriole legs with tied ribbon and paw feet carving. Condition- Very good. Dimensions:- Height…37.5’’/ 95.5cm. Width…27’’/ 69cm. Depth…27’’/ 69cm. Seat Height…19’’/ 48cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
