Strictly Vetted Dealers

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.

Secure Transit

Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

The Sustainable Choice

Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

The cabinet stands on block feet and displays age splits to the door fronts along with minor surface marks. The overall dimensions measure 205.8 cm high, 109.2 cm wide, and 50.8 cm deep. Placed in a living room, dining area, or hallway, this rustic farmhouse cupboard serves as a striking storage cabinet and display unit.

FAQs

A Swedish pine clock cupboard is a traditional piece of Scandinavian country furniture that integrates a longcase clock housing into a functional storage cabinet base.

These pieces were typically crafted from native Scandinavian pine or fir, using hand-planed joinery, wooden peg construction, and hand-turned architectural elements.

Authentic 19th-century examples display signs of hand-tooling, traditional mortise-and-tenon joints, period iron hardware, and natural age-related shrinkage in the pine timber.

A clock cupboard serves as a focal architectural piece in a hallway, dining room, or kitchen, pairing well with neutral colour palettes and minimalist linen textiles.

To preserve the timber, keep the cupboard away from direct heat sources, dust regularly with a soft cloth, and apply clear beeswax polish occasionally to protect the finish.
