Description

A 19th Century Gilt Overmantle Mirror.

The edges of the frame with a rounded moulding, surrounding the ogee profile body, decorated to the upper corners with scrolling and spreading leaves. The lower corners with rising scrolling leaves above plinth corners, raised on tapered rounded ebonised feet. The inner edges of the frame with concave slip moulds, holding the atmospheric original plate.

Date circa 1830.
