A 19th century Chinese elm bench.
The bench is a two-person bench of classic form; it is substantial and stands firm. The wood has a truly outstanding patina throughout with remnants of red paint to the top. There is some evidence of gistoric woodworm in areas which has been treated in abundance of caution.
A lovely practical piece of furniture perfect for use as table seating, a boot room bench or standing shelf.
