Fine George I Oak Lowboy

Description

A fine quality and unusual George I Oak Lowboy of rich warm colour with Walnut banding to the highly figured Oak top and drawer fronts, the shaped freeze veneered in Mahogany. Retaining the wonderful original chased brass handles and having clean original Oak linings. The corners are canted and fluted, the legs are particularly well drawn having a lovely early form of shaped foot prior to the turned pad foot which is a feature on later pieces. Circa 1715
