Description

A charming well proportioned Georgian mahogany fold over tea table c1800. The fold over top is solid mahogany. It is hinged so it can fold over to stand on the rear fold out leg. The table has a single drawer with original brass handles and escutcheon. The inner legs are chamfered (angle cut) typical of cabinet making at the time and on each corner is a small triangular frieze. Not too large, this is a pretty and well proportioned useful item of furniture.

When opened out, the tabletop measures 84 cm wide x 86cm deep.
