A late Victorian walnut inlaid coffee table, the oval top with a solid gallery edge around a broad band of rosewood crossbanding, with an ebony string around a burr walnut panel with a central vignette of flowers, foliage and rosebuds in various specimen woods including harewood, tulipwood, satinwood and boxwood, and on a well figured frieze over four tapering supports with scrolling brackets on spade feet. English circa 1890.
Condition: Overall very good, the central vignette appears to be all present, the colours have faded a little although there is plenty of definition, the burr walnut is in good condition, and the table stands well with no undue wobbling. Overall it has a lovely rich colour and a very pleasing appearance.
