Victorian Carved Oak Hall Bench

Description

This Victorian Carved Oak Hall Bench is generously proportioned, with copious amounts of decorative detail. Standing on substantial, deeply carved front legs, joined by a geometrically carved front rail. The good sized seat has decorative carving to its edge moulding.

The turned armrest supports lead onto the carved back rail. The oak has mellowed to a glorious warm tone, with good patination to it, wearing its history with pride and looking all the better for it. This Hall bench would make a statement wherever placed in the home.
