In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The upper tier has a shaped gallery with pretty inlaid decoration. There is a single drawer in the base with turned knobs and the whatnot stands on turned feet with its original ceramic castors.
It is in good condition for its age and is a good quality piece with lovely rich timbers. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks and stains and light knocks and a small old split on the corner of one shelf but no major damages or anything detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
