Rare Pair of Chinese Hardwood Urn Table Stands

Description

This a rare pair of large Chinese hardwood stands which would very much suit a pair of Oriental vases of some scale. The quality hardwood stands date from the mid 19th century and they measure 36 cms in diameter and they are 30 cms high, so they would give a real presence to the right pair of vases. The stands have petal form friezes and are raised on reeded and scrolling square supports.

These would probably suit vases which were perhaps a metre high or even bigger but could also look very stylish as lamp tables in the right setting.
