Description

A George II Oak lowboy, the canted rectangular top above three frieze drawers with chequer banded borders, raised on carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. It is interesting to note the Canted Corners from the top echoed on the frieze of the carcass as well as on the knees of the cabriole legs. The chequer banding is typical for pieces from the Cheshire area.

Circa 1730
