Antique Edwardian Mahogany Matching Double Wardrobe and Dressing Table Chest C1900 Wdb5986/19.10

Lovely antique edwardian mahogany matching double wardrobe and dressing table and dating form around 1900. Thye wardrobe has a cornice top with inlaid stringing to the mahogany frieze above a central panel which is also strung and to either side is an oval bevelled mirrored door with bras shandles and inlaid stringing to the mahogany frame. Internally there is one long hanging rail and tyhjere is a drawer to the base which is oak lined and with original brass handles and inlaid stringing to the edges and it stands on short squared legs.

The dressing table chest has a bevelled oval mirror set within a mahogany surround with inlaid stringing and with tapering strung supports topped with brass finials. There is a small jewellery drawer to each side and a moulded base to the top with inlaid stringing above two short drawers over two long drawers all of which are oak lined with original brass handles and inlaid stringing to the edges it stands on squared tapering legs on castors.

Both pieces are in very good condition with a lovely deep coolour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the edwardian period.

The wardrobe measures: 81" high X 20" deep X internal depth 17" X 52" wide

The dressing chest measures: 63" to top of mirror X 32" to table top X 18" deep X 42" wide
