Arundel Clocks has dated this Triple Fusee Bracket Clock to the 1890s.
The case:
In solid mahogany and stands 18” high x 12” wide with a depth of 8.5”.
There are two fully functioning locks, with original keys, on both doors. It stands on solid gilded brass feet and has a solid gilded brass handle atop it. The sheer weight of the clock when lifted will indicate it’s quality.

The dial:
Mint condition with a silvered chapter ring and three subsidiary dials for adjusting the pendulum, ‘Chime’, and ‘Silent’, and is signed by the maker's Bennetfink & Co of London. The Roman numerals are also engraved, and the dial covered by a cast brass bezel and thick convex glass.

The movement:
An eight-day. All quarters and the hour strike, run via gongs. Both movement and strike run via the original matching solid brass bob pendulum. The entire movement has been fully restored in house; ultrasonically cleaned, hand polished, rebuilt with new springs and all screws re-blued. It is now keeping perfect time over the eight days.

If you require any further information, please ask. I am happy to send more photographs or can video the clock running, if desired. You are also very welcome to come and view the clock in person, which I would be happy to recommend as the photographs really can’t do it justice.

As with all my clocks, this one is sold with a ‘back-to-base’ 3-month guarantee. I also offer future clock servicing, which I carry out personally at a heavily discounted rate.
Overall, a very beautiful, heavy, clock, quite rare to find in this original condition. It makes a great display piece and keeps good time. It would be a fabulous addition to any home.

Delivery can be arranged with our driver, to anywhere within a 150 radius of Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Beyond this, other arrangements for collection will need to be made as unfortunately this item is not suitable for postage.
