Masons Antiques has dated this Georgian Fusee Bracket Clock to the Georgian era.
To the sides are brass sound frets with gold backed material. It has brass "lion-head" carrying handles above the sound frets and stands on 4 round brass ball feet.

The 8" convex white dial has black Roman numerals and beautifully cut hands. It has a cast brass bezel with convex glass.
The 8 day, twin fusee movement strikes the hours on a bell with a lovely crisp, resonating tone. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee. It has a London style pendulum that is lockable, and a glazed rear door.
A clock of exemplary quality as one would expect from the Georgian period.
