Wonderful Edwardian monk bench/ hall seat/ settle made in solid oak. The attractively carved back rest lifts and folds down to transform the bench into a very useful table. The carved table top rests on oak arms supported by beautifully turned balusters. The panelled seat with carving to the front three, lifts to provide ample storage for boots, shoes, bags etc. This outstanding oak bench is a very practical useful piece of furniture with superb colouring, beautiful graining and wonderful patina.
