Regency Mahogany Canterbury

19th century
Description

A Regency period boat shaped Canterbury in mahogany. Single drawer with original handles, fine ring turned legs terminating in original cup castors. Ebony cockbeading around the drawer with matching panels on the back and sides. A decorative gilt brass moulding gives a pleasing detail. English c1810. Lovely patination and condition, elegant piece of period furniture.
