Antique Georgian High Panelled Back Country Oak Settle Peg Joined C1730 Wdb5022/1.9

Description

Superb antique george 11 country oak high panelled back settle and dating from aorund 1730. It has a six panelled high back rest with reeded frames to the panels which extend downwards and it has lovely outswept armrests on turnd supports. It has a solid plank seat and stands on turned and block front legs joined by squared stretchers.

It is hand and peg joined.

In very good condition with a really lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing the charm and character of the early georgian period.

Measures: 59" high X seat height 19" X 23" deep X 61" wide
